The first joint meeting of the Supervisory and Scientific and Technical Councils of ISTC EM was held in St. Petersburg at St. Petersburg State University LETI

On September 14, 2020, LETI held the 1st joint meeting of the Scientific and Technical and Supervisory Boards (STC and NS) of EUROMASH, as well as a regular meeting of the EM Board, at which the regulations for the STC and NS were considered and approved, decisions were made on the development concept and priority projects of EM.

Speakers of the meeting Co-Chairman of the Board of EM Bogachev Yu.P. (ISTC TIM), member of the EM Board Y. Filatov and Deputy Chairman of the STC EM Luchinin V.V. (both LETI) presented detailed information on the EM structure and governing bodies formed in accordance with the EM Charter, on the main areas of EM activity in the field of innovative mechanical engineering, control systems and navigation systems, microelectronics and alternative energy.

EM's priority projects include international innovation projects “Development and production of inertial simulator stands for testing and certification of transport system components” (INESMASH project, main contractors LETI, INTERTECH, TIM and ZGO); "Development and cooperative production of ultra-precision technological equipment" (KUGMASH project, the main contractors of TIM, VNIII, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, KUGLER GmbH and IWU Fhg) and a number of others.

Chairman of the STC EM academician Zheltov S.Yu. reported on the urgent tasks of developing machine-building technologies for civil aviation and the automotive industry, including artificial intelligence. The Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly, Rector of LETI presented information on the development of the scientific potential of the University, on the great experience of international scientific and technical cooperation, on the creation of the Navigation and Traffic Control Engineering Center and the Joint Laboratory (SEL) on its basis, and also expressed gratitude to the Administration of St. Petersburg and Moscow partners for their assistance in the development of LETI and EUROMASH.

EM Board chaired by the 1st Vice-Rector of LETI M.S. Kupriyanov approved proposals for clarifying the composition and organization of the work of the STC and NS EM, on the list of priority and promising EM projects and at the invitation to international cooperation of innovative companies and universities in the framework of EUROMASH. Participants of the 1st joint meeting of STC and NS EM examined the newly created Engineering Center with interest "Traffic control" LETI and SEL, approved plans for their development within the framework of international projects EUROMASH.
