The Working Group IWUMASH meeting was held on-line via MSTEAMS
From Fraunhofer IWU side Dr. Eng. Hans-Joachim participated as organizer and WG Co-Chair together with Udo Eckert and Dr. Eng. Philipp Klimant.
From TIM-EUROMASH side: Dr. Eng. Yury Bogachev, Kuzma Klimochkin and Dr. Eng. Olga Sakharova.
The Partners discussed actual situation of IWUMASH Projects after establishment of EUROMASH ISTU in St. Petersburg www.euromash.org and after pandemic period.
IWUMASH projects with participation of IWU and TIM are included into priority projects EUROMASH list as approved by IWUMASH WG protocol dated 18.12.2019: SPIN-EMB, NANOMACHINING-KUGMASH, METROMMASH.
1. SPIN-EMB
Project “Motor Spindle with electromagnetic bearings Assembly” on documentation was realized. The Partners shall finalize discussions proposals on project development in 2022-2023, including license agreements and new IWU patent, within November 2021.
2. NANOMACHINING-KUGMASH
MICROMASTER machine at TIM Lab will be set up with KUGLER experts within 2021. TIM asked for IWU cooperation and offer on new ultra-precision parts construction, technology development and machinery delivery. WG will consider the Partners proposals on project development in 2022-2023 to be exchanged within November 2021.
3. METROMMASH
The Partners will consider actual possibilities to finalize Parallel Kinematics P100 for development the project in the frame of AI industrial Program.
4. NEW EUROMASH-TIM R&D Projects
The Partners will discuss IWU participation in new EM-TIM projects using CNC Machines of FPT SpA and STUDER to be delivered to TIM Lab in 2022. Typical parts drawings will be sent to IWU within 2021 for IWU proposal drafting.
Dr. Eng, Philipp Kliment will coordinate IWUMASH project in 2022 as WG Co-Chairman from IWU Fhg. The Partners will discuss possible next meeting for finalizing IWUMASH Plan for 2022 in November-December in Chemnitz.
